Collected the bike from the UK............ After a one day, 731mile dash...... was a bit sleepy after that and no mistake!....... the only spares I got was a set of wets on wheels.

Placed an order with Race Products Ltd...... for two sets of bodywork, on special Christmas offer with delivery in the first two weeks of January...... I'm determined this year to have enough spares so that I don't end up spending 8 hours botching the bike up, like I had to do at Mondello Park after my yee-ha (see Season 2000 Diary).

Decided I wanted an Awning this year........ so a bought a free standing one from Darren 'Archie' Murphy, as he has another one which is fixed to his transporter............... what clinched wanting one for me was being at Cadwell Park last year with Juan, the top two in the Star Championship, changing his wheels under a brolly!

Also sick of trudging around the paddock, I purchased an accident damaged scooter, which only looked like it had fairing damage, but had a few other problems (nothing major), but I found that spares prices for scooters are scandalous. No wonder if you fall off them, they write them off. Managed to locate the necessary spares, from breakers to repair, and now it looks a beaut.
