Monday 7th June

Watched the 125/400 Race from Signpost corner, and could see the mist rolling in over the hills, but it seemed to be breaking up as it covered the Governors Hill Estate, which was handy an that……… as I was supposed to be doing the practise after the Production 1000 race, which I unfortunately had to withdraw from, (and they never named me as a non starter on the radio, so had a few friends worried when I never made it round to where they were watching)…… I made my way back to the paddock to watch the start of the Proddy 1000 and get meself ready etc etc……… they then Red Flagged the race after half a lap, and blamed it on the weather, they said the mist had decended in Kirk Michael, but nobody saw any mist?????……… Word on the Manor was that the Police wanted the roads open because of the traffic congestion, and it was really bad as it turned out…… they should never have started the race in the first place…… Its amazing to think that a race was cancelled in the scorching weather that we were having…… I was burnt to hell, and I covered mesen up half the day…… Doh!……… but shit happens I suppose.
